What to do
- 1
Open Developer settings
Sign in and open the Developer section in Settings.
- 2
Create and save the token
Name the token for its intended integration and copy the value into a secure secret store.
- 3
Review and revoke
Remove tokens that are unused, shared accidentally, or connected to a retired integration.
Good to know
A token is a credential. Never place it in screenshots, public repositories, browser code, or support messages.
Revoking a token stops clients that depend on it until they receive a replacement.
